Last year, Indigo launched its frequent flyer program “Indigo Bluchip“. It has entered into partnerships with banks and other merchants to allow earning of Indigo Bluchips, making them easier to earn. We have several ways to earn Indigo Bluchips. If you have eyeing to earn them here is the guide.
Earn IndiGo BluChips on IndiGo Flights
So, the most obvious way to get Bluchips is on Indigo flights. Every time, you fly Indigo irrespective of from where you have booked it you will earn 8 Indigo Bluchips for every ₹ 100 spent.
Only the base fare & fuel surcharge after discount earns Bluchips, excluding taxes and other statutory levies.
- Eligible IndiGo Flights to earn Indigo Bluchips are:
- IndiGo Marketed and Operated flight (6E Flight)
- IndiGo Marketed and Codeshare Partner Operated flight (6E Codeshare Flight)
- Exclusions (Flights which don’t get any Indigo Bluchips)
- Redemption tickets booked using IndiGo BluChips, whether in full or part
- Industry discount tickets
- Chartered 6E Flights
Achieve Higher Tier to Earn More
Indigo Bluchip have three tiers:
- Blu 3: Zero Bonus
- Blu 2: 2 IndiGo BluChips for every ₹ 100 spent
- Blu 1: 4 Indigo Bluchips for every ₹ 100 spent.
So, if someone is in the Blu 1 tier, which they can achieve by spending ₹200K on Indigo flights and taking a minimum of 8 flights, they will earn a base of 8 Bluchips plus 4 Blu 1 benefits on every ₹100 spent, totalling 12 Bluchips for every ₹100 spent.
Book Directly on Indigo
If you book directly on the Indigo website or App, you will earn a channel bonus. You will earn 4 Bluchips for every ₹ 100 spent when booking directly on Indigo. This maybe a downside for corporate travellers, however, if you usually book directly here is how much you earn for every ₹100 spent:

Earning on 6E Add-ons
If you book 6E Add-ons like Fast Forward, Seat Select, and Pre-book Excess Baggage Allowance, you will earn Indigo Bluchips, just as you earn for your Tier. That means if you are in Blu 3 tier, you will earn 8 bluchips on 6E Add-ons and 12 if you are in Blu 1.
- Exclusions:
- No channel bonus is eligible on 6E Add-ons.
- 6E Add-ons for 6E Codeshare Flights
- 6E Add-ons: if the flight is booked, the source is third party.
Apply for IndiGo IDFC FIRST Dual Credit Card
If you have an IDFC Indigo Co-Branded Credit Card, you can earn Indigo Bluchips on every swipe, plus milestone benefits too.
- Earnings on IndiGo IDFC FIRST Dual Credit Card:
- Base Earnings on every ₹ 100 Spent:
- 6 Indigo Bluchips on Indigo Flights booked via Indigo Website & App.
- 0.5 Indigo Bluchips on UPI, Insurance, Utilities, Fuel, Rent & Wallet.
- 3 Indigo Bluchips on all other spends.
- Joining, Activation & Renewal Benefits:
- Joining Benefit: Voucher of 5000 IndiGo BluChips
- Activation Benefit: Voucher of 3000 BluChips on spending ₹1 lakh

Apply for Indigo IDFC Co-Branded Credit Card.
Apply for IndiGo Kotak Co-Branded Credit Card
You can apply for a Premium Variant or a regular Indigo Kotak Co-Branded Credit Card. Don’t go by the 21 earning on Indigo spent, you will only earn 5 Indigo Bluchips per ₹ 100 spent if you have the Premium Variant or 3 Bluchips if you have the base variant. 21 Bluchips were included, 16 of which a Tier Blu 1 member can earn. One edge of the Premium Variant card over IDFC is that it comes with 8 Domestic Lounge Access; however, this is not a big differentiator.
Earn Indigo Bluchips on Swiggy
This has to be my favourite and easiest way to earn Indigo Bluchips while eating, ordering groceries, or even an iPhone via Instamart. You will earn 1 Indigo Bluchip for every ₹ 100 spent on Swiggy, Swiggy Dineout & Instamart. Make sure to link both accounts, even if you don’t travel frequently.
Earn Indigo Bluchips on EazyDiner
So, if you can’t use Swiggy Dineout but have EazyDiner, you can still get Indigo Bluchips at the same rate. You earn 1 IndiGo BluChip on every ₹100 spent on table bookings and payments with EazyDiner. And, just in case you buy an Eazydiner membership (which is readily available as a complimentary benefit with several cards), you will earn 20 Indigo Bluchips for every ₹ 100 Spent. Make sure you have both accounts linked.
Earn Indigo Bluchips on The Postcard Hotel
If you happen to be staying at The Postcard Hotels, you can earn 10 Indigo Bluchips for every ₹100 Spent. However, a maximum of 5K Bluchips can be earned in a month.
Promotion: For bookings made between August 28th and September 10th, 2025, and for stays until November 30th, 2025, you can earn 2x Bluchips, that is 20 Bluchips per ₹100 spent, with a maximum of 10,000 Bluchips per month. However, it requires a minimum of two-night stays.
Instead of Indigo Bluchips, you can choose to earn 4000 Singapore Airlines Krisflyer Miles by staying for three consecutive nights.
Earn IndiGo BluChips on AirportZo services
If you happen to be using AirportZo services, you can earn 5 IndiGo BluChips on every ₹100 spent on AirportZo services.
Earn IndiGo BluChips on Sight Seeing
Indigo is promoting its sightseeing business here. However, options are very few. And, if you happen to find something relevant, you will earn 8 IndiGo BluChips on every ₹100 spent on Sightseeing. However, there are better options.
Earn IndiGo Bluchips on Hotel Bookings
Indigo also has a hotel bookings option on its website; however, I would not recommend using this if you book directly or via other better options, such as SmartBuy or iShop. And, in case there is a good deal on Indigo Hotel Bookings, you can earn up to 8 Bluchips for every ₹100 Spent.
Bottomline
Indigo has one of the biggest networks in the world and has been able to book its flights with Indigo Blu Chip, which is a great way to travel to your next destination. There are several ways to earn Indigo Bluchips, sometimes even while ordering groceries, so that you can rack up those bluchips for your next travel.
