TAP Air Portugal offers a status match for residents of Europe and is available with 12 airlines. However, to status match, you will need to pay a status match fee. The good thing, however, is that you can get Star Alliance Gold, the top tier of Star Alliance.

Is it worth it?
The TAP Miles&GO gold status is worth it if you happen to be travelling a lot on Star Alliance Airlines for the next 12 months, as you get the benefit of business class check-in, access to the lounge & fast track at certain airports.
However, miles earned with TAP Miles&GO may not be the best or have all good redemption options.
