IHG is one of the largest hotel chains in the world. Its presence, however, in India is limited, yet there are a lot of opportunities to earn IHG points in India. If you want to find IHG’s lowest points redemption rate on the IHG website, then it can only done for hotels that have been sold out.
For example, I was looking for a points stay in New Delhi, particularly Crowne Plaza Gurgaon. However, the points rate was not available. But a good thing about it not being available is that you can see a “View Available Dates” option.
Once you click on it, you can see the IHG Points monthly award chart. Just change the month to see the points you need for the stay.

The best way to find IHG’s lowest points redemption rate is by using the IHG mobile app. If you haven’t installed it, you can earn 500 Bonus points on its installation. However, registration is required for the promotion.
Follow these steps to find the IHG points rate:
- Search for where you want to go, enter the dates, and choose points as the default option.
- Go to the hotel you like and click on it.
- Scroll down and click on flexible dates.

I know this way is not as good as Marriott or Hyatt, but still, it is good enough to find on which dates IHG’s lowest redemption rates are available.
Things to Know
IHG hotel prices, both revenue and points, remain high for stays in the far future, but as travel dates come near, the prices may drop both for revenue & points. So, check the prices and points if you have booked your stay early with IHG.
