Etihad Transfer Bonus Details
With this promotion, you can get a 40% Bonus Etihad Guest Miles; however, it is a tiered offer:
- Transfer 1000 to 9,999 miles and get 20% Bonus Miles
- Transfer 10,000 to 49,999 miles and get 30% Bonus Miles.
- Transfer 50,000 miles and above and get 40% Bonus Miles.
Only transfer transactions made by 31 October 2024 are eligible for this promotion. Any bonus miles earned with this promotion will be credited to your account within 15 days, i.e., by 15 November 2024.

Should you Transfer?
Firstly, Accor and Shangri-La points should never be transferred as they are valuable, and you would need an exceptional redemption to get the same value. Also, Air France-KLM is the transfer partner of both programs and transfers at a 1:1 ratio, and Etihad is the airline partner. It is also one of the good ways to book Etihad.
This offer is not good for almost everyone unless you want to redeem for specific redemptions and want to top off your Etihad miles. Also, recent changes to the expiration policy make it hard to transfer to a not-so-popular program speculatively.
