Should you extend miles validity by purchasing?
Few Airlines like Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines & Vietnam Airlines allow you to extend the validity of miles by purchasing the expiring miles. Usually, these miles cost $20 [INR 1650] per 1000 miles or around 1.65 per mile. You can find a lot of options for purchasing miles at this cost. I would not buy the validity of miles except for Singapore Airlines or Turkish Airlines. However, with these two airlines, you’re less likely to have expiring miles as they offer great connectivity and partner awards.
