American Express has partnered with over 34 airlines across the globe. Some airlines are available to major countries, whereas some are limited to their specific territory. For Example, British Airways is available in most countries, whereas airlines like Oman Air and Turkish Airlines are available in the middle east. So, that makes this interesting as some people may shift base to some other country and can find some new partners. Here we have tried to cover major countries except Europe.

US Amex Cards has access to 18 airline partners.

Canada American Express Airline Partners

Amex cards issued in Canada have just six Airline partners, one of the lowest globally.

Canada Amex points can be transferred to Aeroplan and Avios at a 1:1 ratio, whereas Flying Blue Miles, Asia Miles, Delta SkyMiles and Etihad guest is transferrable at 1:0.75.

Middle East-issued Amex can transfer points to Thirteen Airline Partners. All airline partners can be transferred in a 2:1 ratio. Here Middle East countries include countries such as Oman, Bahrain and UAE.
