British Airways & Qatar Airways offer Avios Boost. Usually, British Airways allows Avios Balance Boost for Avios earned in the past 30 days in your British Airways account. And Qatar Airways offers the same for 90 days. Boosting Avios with British Airways is cheaper, whereas Qatar Airways is more expensive. If you earned Avios in your British Airways Account in 2025, you can boost them, and a 30-day limit does not apply to these Avios-earning transactions for a limited time. • All Avios earned in 2025 in your British Airways account can be boosted up to 5 times.
• This promotion is valid till 6 February 2026.
• Usually, the Avios can be boosted up to 3 times; however, for this promotion, you can boost up to 5 times.

• If you plan to boost your Avios, you can do so for as low as 1.27¢ per Avios until 6 February 2026. The table below summarises the cost of each boost.

• This pricing is only valid for boosting up to 300K Avios; it will be more expensive for bigger boosts.

Which Transactions can be boosted?

Usually, I earn Avios through Finnair, but sometimes I also use British Airways. Last year, I earned or transferred around 20000 Avios to British Airways, and I can boost them to 500%, which will cost approximately 1.27¢ per Avios.
