Axis Bank added six new transfer partners. When HDFC added the new transfer partners at the start of the year, it had some exclusive transfer partners. Now, of those exclusive partners, Axis has added them as their transfer partner. And some of these partners are exceptional. Axis New Airline Transfer Partners
Axis adds four new airline transfer partners. These are:
- Star Alliance:
- Aeroplan (Air Canada)
- Royal Orchid Plus (Thai Airways)
- Oneworld:
- Japan Mileage Bank (Japan Airlines)
- Qantas (Qantas Airlines)
You can transfer HDFC points to Aeroplan, but all three other partners are exclusive to Axis.
The transfer Ratio continues to be 5:4 for Axis HNI Credit Cards and 1:2 for Axis Atlas Credit Cards.
Are they good?
Definitely, all the newly added airline transfer partners are great.
Aeroplan is among the best frequent flyer program in the world due to its large airline partners, which include Star Alliance members and two OneWorld partners such as Cathay Pacific & Sri Lankan Airlines and Emirates & Etihad. Also, it has one of the best Award seats available. At the moment, due to some issue, you can’t book with points at Aeroplan ex-India.
Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus is also a good program, as you can connect to other Asian Countries via Bangkok.
Japan Airlines has a fixed award chart which means there is value to be made. You can travel to Japan from Delhi in just 17500 miles which is decent. And, in 40000 miles, you can book a business class seat in Japan which is good. However, you may have to shell out money for a fuel surcharge.
Qantas is great for travel to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. You can travel to Fiji from Singapore in around 31050 miles on Fiji Airways.
So, all new airline transfer partners are great and bring additional value.
Axis New Hotel Transfer Partners
Axis added two new hotel transfer partners, which are:
At Accor, 2000 points are equal to €40 (INR 3600), which means 1 point gets you a value of INR 1.6, which is exceptional. Also, Accor has many hotels in Europe and Asia-Pacific, so there are options to redeem. You can even transfer your Accor to other airlines at a 2:1 decent ratio.
Wyndham has decent hotels where reward points start at 7500 for a free night. Usually, Wyndham is not for everyone due to their average customer experience.
