Axis Bank has several transfer partners to which you can transfer your Edge Reward. On regular transfer of reward, no transfer bonus is given. But now, for the first time, Axis has come up with a transfer offer on Edge Rewards to Turkish Airlines with a 100% bonus.
Axis Turkish Transfer Bonus Offer Details
Select Axis Bank Credit Cards can now earn a 100% bonus or 2x Turkish Airlines “Smiles and More” miles. This transfer offer is from 7th Feb 2023, 6:00 AM to 7th March 2023, at 11:59 PM. Not all credit cards are selected in this offer.
Below are the Credit Cards on which this transfer bonus offer is applicable are:
- Axis Atlas
- Axis Privilege
- Axis Select
Although it is a 100% transfer bonus offer, a maximum of 20000 Turkish Airlines miles bonus will be given. These bonus miles are calculated on miles received after conversion in your Turkish Airlines Smiles & Miles Account. Also, all miles on the Turkish Airlines Frequent Flyer Program have an expiry of 3 years.
How does this work?
Let’s say you have 10000 points/miles of each of these cards, then you will receive points as below:
Credit Card | Edge Rewards/Miles | Conversion Ratio | Converted Miles | 100% Bonus Miles | Total Miles |
Atlas | 10000 | 1:2 | 20000 | 20000 | 40000 |
Privilege | 10000 | 10:1 | 1000 | 1000 | 2000 |
Select | 10000 | 10:1 | 1000 | 1000 | 2000 |

Is it worth it?
It’s subjective. But it is an excellent offer if you cough up a $100 (INR 8000) fee on Award Tickets for international flights. This is because, in just 30000 Turkish Miles, you can book a one-way ticket to most of Europe from India in economy class.

Also, the price of this particular flight is INR 1,18,429. And the minimum amount for a flight on this day was INR 52,935. So, the value of your points even after fees of $128, can be great, at least for Axis Atlas.
Since Turkish Airlines is also part of Star Alliance, you can book Air India flights with Turkish Airlines miles with good value.
Final Thoughts
Axis Edge Rewards transfer to Turkish Airlines with a 100% Bonus is a great offer. However, on international flights, Turkish Airlines charges huge fees of $100. But domestic flights on Air India can be booked with Turkish Miles with great value. So, with this offer, you can easily squeeze more value out of your Axis Edge Rewards. In the case of Axis Atlas, it can be more than INR 1 per Mile.
