If you buy Aeroplan points without a promotion, it costs 2.74¢ per point. That means that if you buy 100K Aeroplan points, you will pay $ 2741 (CA$9375). However, until January 24, 2026 [11:59 p.m. PT], you get up to a 30% discount.

- Annual purchase limit: Air Canada allows purchases of up to 1,000,000 points per calendar year. The 2025 limit runs until 31 December 2025 and resets on 1 January 2026.

Is Buying Air Canada Aeroplan Points at 1.92¢ per point Worth It?
If you want to buy Aeroplan Points, make sure you have exhausted other options, such as transferring your credit card points. And, you are still short of Aeroplan Points. Does it make sense to buy Aeroplan points at 1.92¢ per point?
A cost of 1.92¢ per point is higher than what I would usually pay for Aeroplan Points. I would only consider this a good promotion when I have a specific redemption in mind and the cash fare is significantly higher than the cost of buying points. This offer only makes sense when topping up points to complete a booking.
