ITC have several excellent hotels in India. It is also a decent hotel loyalty program, “Club ITC”. It rarely has a status match promotion, but not this time. Club ITC status match promotion is available, and you can become a Club ITC Gold member simply by having a Gold Elite status with another airline or hotel loyalty program. I recall ITC offering a status match promotion in 2021 with Vistara, which I had taken advantage of at the time. Now, you can choose to match with any airline or hotel program.
Club ITC Status Match Promotion: Basics
If you are looking to use this promotion, make sure of the following:
- Promotion Period: 1 November-31 December 2025
- Available for both new and existing members.
- Eligible Elite Status:
- Minimum of Gold or Higher Status
- Elite status should be from any Airline or Hotel loyalty program.
- The Elite Status should be valid at least till 31 March 2026.
- Validity of Club ITC Gold Status: The status will be initially valid till 30th June 2026.
- Extension of Club ITC Gold Status: If you complete five night stays by June 30, 2026, your Club ITC Gold status will be extended until December 31, 2026. Additionally, ITC now offers milestone benefits as well. If you complete three nights in a calendar year, you will receive a 25% savings on buffet lunch or dinner at the All Day Dining restaurant, or a Room Upgrade voucher.
- In any case, you will remain a Silver member till 31st December 2026 even if you don’t complete five night stays.

Why is this a good promotion?
You can transfer HDFC & Axis Bank points easily to Club ITC. Couple that with other benefits, such as late checkout, room upgrades, and complimentary in-room amenities, and you will get more out of your points. Additionally, there are several ITC properties in India, and some of them are truly remarkable. Additionally, this status match incurs no cost, making it a sensible option to utilise.
Things to Know
The status match promotion is available for both new & existing members; however, the status match will be approved by ITC, so there is a remote possibility that it may be rejected.
How to Status Match?
You need to follow the steps below to avail the Status Match Promotion:
- Email your request to clubitc.care@itchotels.com, with the subject line “Upgrade to Club ITC Gold”.
- In the email, do mention the following:
- Name
- Email ID (yeah, they need it)
- Mobile Number
- Club ITC Membership Number
- Share your Airline / Hospitality Loyalty Membership ID (Should have full name, status level & expiry date of membership)
- It will take seven working days to get approved.
Status Match History
- Ongoing: Status Match with any airline or hotel loyalty program till 31st December 2025.
- Past:
- Vistara ITC Status Match was valid till 31st December 2021.
