- Promo Awards are available every month.
- Travel dates should be within a specified time frame. For example, in November 2025, you redeem miles for:
- 1st December to 31st Janurary 2026. (295 Routes)
- 15th December to 31st Janurary 2026.
- 15th Feburary to 31st March 2026. (21 Routes)
- Eligible Cabins:
- Economy Cabins, Premium Economy & Business Class
- Business Class flights within Europe do not come with lie-flat business class seats.
- Premium Economy Flights within Europe would mostly be in the Economy Cabin.
- Awards are non-cancellable or changeable.
- The return flight should be after a gap of at least one day.
- Stopovers are not allowed.
- Bookable online.
- Taxes are applicable
- You will need a minimum of 7K miles in the account to search for an award.
- Taxes and surcharges, as applicable, are payable.
Which Miles & More Airlines fly from India?
At present, only three Miles & More Airlines fly from India, so Mileage Bargains would be made available on these airlines:
- Lufthansa: From Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai & Hyderabad
- LOT Polish: From Delhi & Mumbai
- Swiss Airlines: From Delhi & Mumbai
Transit Visa
Indians may need to apply for a transit Visa when transiting via Germany; certain exceptions apply. However, the same is not applicable for Poland & Switzerland (You should check if you need a transit visa anyway, as transit visa rules can be changed anytime).
Specific routes, such as flights to the United Kingdom, Turkey, Georgia, etc, may be outside the Schengen Area.

Let’s take an example of an economy flight between Bangalore (BLR) & Munich, which costs 38.5K. This 38.5K includes a carrier-imposed surcharge (YQ) of 14827, which is charged for all economy flights from India by Miles & More. This will be increased by other charges, excluding YR.
The good thing is that business-class carrier-imposed charges (YQ) are not very significant compared to Economy flights.
