As of 2026, HDFC Bank has 22 transfer partners, including both airline and hotel programs. The list has changed since 2023 with several additions, a few removals, and some important ratio updates — all of which affect the value of your points. Here’s the updated list of HDFC Bank transfer partners in 2026 and how the program has changed since 2023.
HDFC Bank Points Airlines Transfer Partners
HDFC Bank has 16 airline transfer partners, of which 11 were added in 2023. In February 2025, Air India was added, followed by Cathay Pacific & Thai Airways, while Singapore Airlines remains a legacy partner.
Unlike Axis, HDFC has maintained a transfer ratio with airline partners, demonstrating good business acumen. The most popular airline or big airline partner ratios have been kept at 100:50, whereas a few airline partners have a 100:100 ratio. However, Airline partners with low ratios can offer a decent points value if awards are researched properly.

Exclusive Points Transfer Partners
Three of the 22 transfer partners are exclusive points transfer partners of HDFC Bank. These are:
- Avianca Lifemiles
- Finnair Plus
- Radisson Rewards (Not worth it!)
Earlier, Aeroplan, Accor, Vietnam Airlines, and Wyndham were HDFC Bank’s exclusive partners, and were subsequently added by Axis Bank or HSBC Bank.
Best HDFC Bank Transfer Partners
HDFC Bank has some no-brainer transfer partners where transferring makes sense:
- Air France-KLM Flying Blue:
- The program has several use cases. For example, using miles for flying blue miles during promo rewards or booking partner awards like Vietnam Airlines.
- Finnair Plus:
- It’s best to earn Avios at1:1 instead of transferring to British Airways or Qatar Airways.
- Booking Qatar Airways Business class, Cathay Pacific and Malaysia Airlines short-haul business class for a good price.
- Singapore Airlines:
- A great program to fly South Asia or Asia Pacific on Singapore Airlines flight, along with booking during Krisflyer Spontaneous Escapes.
- Accor:
- Even though the transfer ratio is 2:1, you still get ₹1 value per point, as 2000 Accor points are worth €40.
- Make the most out of your Accor stays with the Accor+ Explorer membership.
- IHG:
- It makes sense to transfer during a bonus and when you have an IHG Elite status.
- Wyndham Rewards:
- For stays when the cash price is high.
Should you transfer HDFC Points to Air India?
Vistara Airlines was merged with Air India. Last year, Air India became a transfer partner of HDFC. The transfer ratio is a 2:1 ratio for Infinia and Diners black but it doesn’t look good.
Air India has high redemption requirements on several routes, and it runs year-round discount sales, allowing you to book flights for less rather than redeeming points. At the same time, HDFC Infinia and Diners Club points can be redeemed for ₹1 per point, and you can get a better deal when redeeming these points instead of transferring. If you need Air India points, it’s better to have an Axis Card or an HSBC Travel One card.

For all transfer partners except Singapore Airlines, you must use the “HDFC SmartBuy” website to transfer points.
Once there, click on your card, e.g., HDFC Infinia, HDFC Diners Black, or HDFC Regalia Gold. Then move to “Miles Transfer.” After that, select the program you want to transfer your points to. Enter your membership or frequent flyer number and the number of points to transfer, then submit.
For Singapore Airlines, you must log in to Net Banking and go to the cards section. From there, choose to redeem points, and you will be redirected to a new website where you can transfer your points.

How long does it take to transfer HDFC points?
HDFC points to transfer partners that are transferred immediately in most cases, except Air India & Singapore Airlines.
It may take two to three days with Singapore Airlines. After Amex, I transferred points the fastest on HDFC. This makes HDFC points a reliable way to top up points when needed. However, Air India points are not instant. I recently transferred HDFC Points to Air India, and it took a few hours to receive the points.
Bottomline
HDFC now has 22 points and transfer partners, which put HDFC Bank in the game. However, the conversion is a bit disappointing in a few cases. However, for a few, it is exceptional. Overall, it is excellent for Indian Travellers and cardholders, as they now have several point-transfer partners.
