HDFC Bank added several points transfer partners in 2023, fourteen Partners, to be exact. Earlier this year, HDFC have added one more transfer partner, Air India. Recently, they have added Marriott Bonvoy, Cathay Pacific & Thai Airways, and with these additions, HDFC Bank now has 21 transfer partners. Some of these partners already have tie-ups with Axis Bank or American Express. However, a few of them are exclusive to HDFC Bank. Here is the complete guide on HDFC Bank Points Transfer Partners.
HDFC Bank Points Airlines Transfer Partners
HDFC Bank has 16 airline transfer partners, of which 11 were added in 2023. In February 2025, Air India was added, and subsequently, Cathay Pacific & Thai Airways were added, while Singapore Airlines remains a legacy partner. Unlike Axis, HDFC has maintained a transfer ratio with airline partners, demonstrating good business acumen. The most popular airline or Big Airline Partner ratios have been kept at 100:50, whereas a few airline partners have a 100:100 ratio. However, Airline partners with low ratios can offer a decent points value if awards are researched adequately.

Thoughts on Airline Partners
Vistara Airlines has merged with Air India. Now, Air India has also become a transfer partner of HDFC. I expected that Air India would be added as a transfer partner, but the 2:1 ratio for Infinia doesn’t look good. One of the reasons I understand this has been done is that HDFC thinks there can be high redemption towards Air India, so instead of devaluing it later, they have kept the ratio lower. With this transfer ratio, it will not make sense to transfer HDFC Points, especially Infinia points, to Air India in most cases, as Infinia points are worth ₹1. You may be able to purchase an Air India flight ticket with Infinia points for less and earn Air India Points or points from its partner airlines at the same time. The sole reason for transferring points to Air India from HDFC can be a small top-up of points. Update: The points transfer took around 2 hours, so the transfer time is not long.
What has changed? HDFC Bank has quietly added Cathay Pacific & Thai Airways as new transfer partners. However, at the same time, it has removed Hainan Airlines.
Note: You can also transfer Biz Black points via NetBanking to Singapore Airlines in a 1:1 ratio.

HDFC Bank Points Hotels Transfer Partners
When HDFC added Airline Partners, it also introduced some notable Hotel Transfer Partners and industry firsts, including Accor and Wyndham. HDFC have recently added Marriott Bonvoy as its latest hotel transfer partner.
Here is the complete list of HDFC Hotels Points Transfer Partners:
Hotels | Conversion Ratio [For Infinia & DCB] | Conversion Ratio [For Regalia Gold] | Time Taken |
ALL-Accor Live Limitless | 100:50 | 100:50 | 24 Hours |
Club ITC | 100:50 | 100:50 | 48-96 Hours |
Marriott Bonvoy | 100:50 | 100:33 | 24 Hours |
IHG One Rewards | 100:100 | 100:50 | 24 Hours |
Wyndham Rewards | 100:100 | 100:50 | 24 Hours |
Note: Intermiles is also an HDFC Bank Transfer Partner with a 100:100 Ratio, which has been excluded from both airline and hotel bookings. You can use Intermiles to book flights or hotels with an airline. However, the value can be low.

How to Transfer HDFC Points?
For all transfer partners except Singapore Airlines, you must use the “HDFC SmartBuy” website to transfer points. Once there, click on your card, e.g., HDFC Infinia, HDFC Diners Black, or HDFC Regalia Gold. Then move to “Miles Transfer.” After that, select the program to which you want to transfer your points. Enter your membership or frequent flyer number, along with the number of points to be transferred, and then submit.
You must log in to Net Banking for Singapore Airlines and move to the cards section. From there, choose to redeem points, and you will be redirected to a new website where you can transfer your points.
How long does it take to transfer HDFC points?
HDFC Points to 21 transfer partners that are transferred immediately in most cases. However, points transfer takes two to three days for Singapore Airlines. After Amex, I transferred points the fastest on HDFC. This makes HDFC points a reliable way to top up points when needed. However, Air India points are not instant. I recently transferred HDFC Points to Air India, and it took a few hours to receive the points.
Bottomline
HDFC now has 21 points and transfer partners, which put HDFC Bank in the game. However, the conversion is a bit disappointing in a few cases. However, for a few, it is exceptional. Overall, it is excellent for Indian Travellers and cardholders since they now have several point transfer partners.
