HDFC Bank added several points transfer partners in 2023, fourteen Partners, to be exact. Last month, HDFC added two more transfer partners. With the addition of these two partners, HDFC Bank now has 19 transfer partners. Some of these partners already have tie-ups with Axis Bank or American Express. However, few of them are exclusive to HDFC Bank. Here is the complete guide on HDFC Bank Points Transfer Partners.
HDFC Bank Points Airlines Transfer Partners
HDFC Bank has 14 airline transfer partners, of which 11 were added in 2023, one was added last month, and two were legacy partners. Unlike Axis, HDFC has kept a transfer ratio with airline partners with good business acumen. Most Popular Airlines or Big Airline Partner ratios have been kept at 100:50, whereas few airline partners have a 100:100 ratio. However, Airline partners with low ratios can give a decent points value if awards are adequately researched. A few airline partners, such as Hainan Airlines or Vietnam Airlines, mostly don’t make sense.
Here is the complete list of HDFC Airlines Points Transfer Partners:
Airlines | Frequent Flyer Program | Airline Alliance | Conversion Ratio [For Infinia & DCB] | Conversion Ratio [For Regalia Gold] | Time Taken |
Air Canada | Aeroplan | Star Alliance | 100:50 | 100:33 | 24 Hours |
Air Asia | AirAsia rewards | None | 100:100 | 100:50 | 24 Hours |
Avianca | Lifemiles | Star Alliance | 100:50 | 100:50 | 24 Hours |
British Airways | Executive Club | OneWorld | 100:50 | 100:33 | 120 Hours |

Vistara Airlines* | Club Vistara | None | 100:100 | 100:50 | 7 Working Days |
Of the above Airline partners, Singapore Airlines and Vistara Airlines have been partners of HDFC Bank for many years. Spice Jet was added last month. The addition of Spice Jet doesn’t make any sense to me.

HDFC Bank Points Hotels Transfer Partners
When HDFC added Airline Partners, it also added some great Hotel Transfer Partners and industry firsts such as Accor and Wyndham. Last month, HDFC added ITC as its transfer partner with a low transfer ratio.
Here is the complete list of HDFC Hotels Points Transfer Partners:
Hotels | Conversion Ratio [For Infinia & DCB] | Conversion Ratio [For Regalia Gold] | Time Taken |
ALL-Accor Live Limitless | 100:50 | 100:50 | 120 Hours |

IHG One Rewards | 100:100 | 100:50 | 24 Hours |
Wyndham Rewards | 100:100 | 100:50 | 24 Hours |

How to Transfer HDFC Points?
For 16 transfer partners, you must use the “HDFC SmartBuy” website to transfer points. Once there, click on your card, e.g., HDFC Infinia, HDFC Diners Black, or HDFC Regalia Gold. Then move to “Miles Transfer.” After that, choose the program you want to transfer your points to. Enter your membership or frequent flyer number and the number of points to be transferred and submitted.
You must log into net banking for the old three transfer partners and move to the cards section. From there, choose to redeem points, and you will be transferred to a new website from where you can transfer points.
Marriott is not a transfer partner of HDFC; however, do you know? You can transfer HDFC Points to Marriott.
How long does it take to transfer HDFC points?
HDFC Points to 16 transfer partners are transferred immediately in most cases. However, for legacy partners, i.e., Intermiles, Singapore Airlines, and Vistara, points transfer takes two to three days. After Amex, I transferred points the fastest on HDFC. This makes HDFC points a reliable way to top up points when needed.
Bottomline
HDFC now has 19 points and transfer partners, which put HDFC Bank in the game. However, the conversion is a bit disappointing in a few cases. However, for a few, it is exceptional. Overall, it is excellent for Indian Travellers and cardholders since they now have several point transfer partners.
