How to book an India to Japan flight to get a free ticket?
This is not the usual way to book a flight ticket. You must have a multi-city itinerary to get a free domestic flight ticket.
So, Firstly, visit the ANA website and choose “Click Here to Search for Flight Tickets / Flight Awards for Multiple Cities”:
Now enter your Indian departing city, Tokyo, and one Japanese domestic city, and return Indian city like the one below; make sure to enter dates within the travel period:

Use Third-Party Multi-City Option
I know the ANA website can be tricky to use. If you are familiar with the Multi-City option on Make My Trip or Yatra, you can book a flight with an additional card discount.

Which Credit Card to use?
If you book directly at the ANA website, Axis Atlas is the best option as it will give 5 Edge Miles for every INR 100 spent. You also earn ANA miles.
However, if you plan to book with a third-party website, use a card with the highest discount. You can also check Credit Card accelerated points websites like HDFC SmartBuy and Amex Reward Multiplier to book. If you book via a third-party website, make sure to enter your frequent flyer number of the Star Alliance Airlines or ANA or ANA partner airlines to earn airmiles.
In any case, make sure to have international travel insurance, which covers your flight cancellation charges.
