Who is it for?
If you already have Asia Miles in your account and were planning to do something similar, then this is a good promotion for you. At the same time, I mostly find Avios a better miles currency for booking Cathay Pacific award flights for relatively fewer miles. But Cathay Pacific may limit the release of premium cabin inventory to its partners.
If you are planning to book a Cathay Pacific Award flight, make sure you do it before 18 March 2026 as it increases the fuel surcharge on award flight increasing the cost, don’t wait until 22 March 2026.
