Royal Jordanian Airlines offers a status match to their Gold Sparrow Elite status with select Hotel Chain loyalty status. It already has an ongoing status match promotion and just made it sweeter with a status match to a top tier with hotel elite status. However, to be eligible for this promotion you must live or reside in eligible countries (mostly in europe & middle east).
Note: The promotion to match Hotel Elite Status with Royal Jordanian Airlines Gold Sparrow will end on 22nd Jan 2025, whereas the regular promotion shall continue after this date.

- To have British Airways Silver Status, you must spend £7500 starting 1st April 2025.
- If you have top Hotel Elite Status and OneWorld Elite Status:
- If you have top Hotel Elite Status, then you become Royal Jordanian Gold Sparrow.
- This promotion is valid till 22nd January 2025.
- This promotion is beneficial if you have OneWorld flights lined up without the Airline Elite Status.
- OneWorld Lounge Access in the USA:
- For Domestic Flights in the USA, lounge Access to American Airlines and Alaska Airlines is restrictive even for their elites.
- However, you can access these lounges if you have OneWorld Sapphire status, though exceptions still apply.

- Usually, you can only status match to Royal Jordanian Airlines Silver Jay elite status with hotel status, however, until 22nd Jan 2025, you can status match to Gold Sparrow which is equivalent of OneWorld Sapphire status.

- The charge for matching to Gold Sparrow is $149; however, if you want to match a hotel status to Gold Sparrow, you will need to pay $199 charges. After 22nd Jan, you would only be able to status match to Silver Jay based on hotel elite status.
