I was on my trip to Vietnam with a two-stop flight. One of these flights happened to be on Singapore Airlines A350 Business Class. This flight was connecting, whereas an earlier flight was on Thai Airways A350 Business Class. Let’s find out how Singapore Airlines A350 is on Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City.

How did I Book a Singapore Airlines A350 Business Cabin?
It is always difficult to find Singapore Airlines Business Class on United. However, since this flight was a connecting flight, I was able to book it using the United Miles. It cost 55K United miles for two-stop flights in three A350 Business Class. I could find Singapore Airlines A350 Business Class for no extra miles since it would cost 55K miles in business class between Delhi-Ho Chi Minh City. So, I went ahead and added an extra stop.
Issues to Sort Out
I did not face issues managing seat and meal selection on the Singapore Airlines website. It was easy to manage compared to the issues I faced on Thair Airways.
Lounge Access
Singapore Airlines flies from Terminal 2 of Changi Airport to several Southeast Asian destinations. So, I took the Skytrain to reach T2 from Terminal 1. There are two lounges on Terminal 2 for Singapore Airlines fliers. If you are a Star Alliance Gold member or KrisFlyer Elite Gold flying an economy or premium economy cabin, you can visit the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Terminal 2.
Since I was flying Business Class, I had access to Business Class SilverKris Lounge, which was on the same floor as KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.
The following facilities are available at Business Class SilverKris Lounge at Changi Airport Terminal 2:
- Selection of warm food and light snacks
- Wireless internet
- Meeting rooms
- TV
- Restrooms
- Wheelchair accessible restrooms
- Shower
- Nursing room

Boarding
I was not at the gate when boarding started, even though the Aircraft could board from two separate gates; only one gate was used for boarding.
Welcome Drink
As soon as I arrived at my seat, I ordered an Orange Juice. Similar to Thai Airways, it was great.
Amenity Kit and More
Only a pillow and blanket were available when I arrived at my seat. The blanket didn’t look aesthetically pleasing or cosy, so I wouldn’t say I liked it that much.
The Amenity Kit was only available upon request. If you asked for it, it would come with the items below.
Seat
The seating on the Singapore Airlines A350 is similar to that of the Thai Airways A350, except for two notable changes. One, the storage is on the upper right side, and second, the handrest is operated with a button.
To move your handrest, you need to use the button.
Here is the storage, with water and noise cancellation headphones:
Also, there was a Samsung phone-looking remote instead of an industry-standard remote. It was sleek and easy to navigate.
Singapore Airlines IFE
Singapore Airlines IFE is just mind-boggling. It has new movies and popular series on this deck. You can easily pass the time, even if it is for the long haul. I could watch some of Killers of the Flower Moon.
The headphones were comfortable and also had noise cancellation. This made the whole thing great. I would say it is top-notch.
Meals
The meal on Singapore Airlines’ A350 was delicious. However, I still prefer Turkish Airlines.
You have this dinner menu if you don’t choose your meal online. It didn’t have anything Vegetarian, though. However, you can always ask the cabin crew if vegetarian options are available.
You can also search on Singapore Airlines for the menu that will be there on your upcoming flight here.
I had already chosen a Vegetarian meal online, so I was served that. It came with a starter, which included Aloo Tikki and Rasgula.
This was okay but not great. The full meal was delicious, and the best part was that it was hot.
It was surely better than Thai Airways.
Cabin Crew
Singapore Airlines Cabin Crew have the warmth that you need while flying. They also look after you, making the whole flight experience great.
Will I again Fly the Singapore Airlines A350 Business Class?
Definitely, especially considering this was a two-hour and ten-minute flight. However, Singapore Airlines flies A380s between DEL and SIN, which will be another good experience. You can also fly Singapore Airlines A350 from Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
Bottomline
The Singapore Airlines A350 Business Class experience is great. Three factors make it exceptional: the Crew, food, and IFE, which you also find on other Singapore Airlines flights.
