Singapore Airlines & Shangri-La Hotels have a long-standing partnership, which allows members of each program to benefit from elite status held in the other program. Also, both miles & points can be transferred to both programs. Now, there is a promotion on transfers between Krisflyer Miles & Shangri-La Circle Points, valid until 31st October 2025.
Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer & Shangri-La Benefits
Here are the benefits available to members of these programs:
- Singapore Airlines Krisflyer Members:
- PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold members get Shangri-La Circle Jade membership after one night’s stay.
- Convert 12 KrisFlyer miles to 1 Shangri-La Circle Point. A Minimum of 20,000 miles is required for conversion, and a maximum of 180,000 miles can be transferred in a year.
- Earn 500 Miles on every stay at Shangri-La Hotels in addition to Circle Points.
- Shangri-La Circle members:
- Shangri-La Circle Polaris, Diamond and Jade members get KrisFlyer Elite Silver membership without any flights.
- Shangri-La Circle Polaris and Diamond member gets Singapore Airlines Krisflyer Gold Elite status with One eligible flight.
- Shangri-La Circle Jade member gets Singapore Airlines Krisflyer Gold Elite status with three eligible flights.
- Convert 1 Shangri-La Circle Points to 1.25 KrisFlyer miles. A minimum of 1000 Points are required for conversion.
Should you transfer?
Both Shangri-La Circle Points & Krisflyer Miles are valuable. 15 Shangri-La miles are worth $1, whereas Singapore Airlines miles may have a higher or lower value than this. That means, the value of one Krisflyer Mile will be ¢0.67 when transferred to a Shangri-La account, which isn’t bad but not the best option. In any case, Shangri-La to Krisflyer transfers are not good.
A one-off case of Krisflyer to Accor transfer can occur when Krisflyer Miles are expiring, and you don’t have any other option to use them. Yes, you can also transfer them to Accor or Marriott, but the choice is yours.

Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer & Shangri-La Promotion
For all transfers between 4 September 2025 and 31 October 2025, from Krisflyer Miles to Shangri-La or from Shangri-La to Krisflyer Miles, you will receive a 25% Bonus, which is decent; however, it is still not a great way to redeem both Krisflyer Miles & Shangri-La Points.
With the 25% bonus promotion:
- 12 Singapore Krisflyer Miles gets you 1.25 Shangri-La Points
- 1 Shangri-La Point gets you 1.56 Krisflyer Miles
The Bonus Points or Miles will be credited within up to 6 weeks upon successful conversion.

Bottomline
Krisflyer Miles & Shangri-La promotion offers a 25% bonus on all transfers made between them by 31 October 2025. However, you may be better off not doing anything.
