Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles was devalued last year. There used to be many sweet spots, which vanished with the devaluation. However, Turkish Airlines has been running some good promotions since the devaluation. Now, it has come up with another good promotion: Get 50% Turkish Miles Back on Award Flights.
Turkish Miles Back Promotion: 50% Miles Back Details
The Turkish Miles Back Promotion is valid for Award flights booked between 4th Feb and 16th Feb 2025 for Travel from 10th Feb to 23rd Feb 2025. One caveat is that two people should travel together on the same PNR.
Here are the conditions for the Turkish Miles Back Promotion:
- Book Period: 4th Feb to 16th Feb 2025
- Travel Period: 10th Feb to 23rd Feb 2025
- Minimum Traveller: Two on Single PNR
- Flight Type: One Way & Round Trip Flights are eligible.
- Eligible Airline: Turkish Airlines [So not valid on Star Alliance or Partner Airlines]
- Promotion: 50% Miles Back
- Miles are credited back within ten days of the flight.
- Reissued tickets will be out of the scope of the campaign.
Check the official links for the promotion here.
Things to Consider
After devaluation, you will have to pay miles on a segment basis. For Example, if you are flying from India to Europe via Istanbul, then you will pay the price for India-IST plus IST-Europe. So, it can be costly unless you have Turkish miles you want to use.
Is this offer good?
This offer is good for those who already have miles in their Miles & Smiles account since you will have a reason to use them and even get some miles back. It is also good for those already planning flights with Turkish miles. However, make sure to check the Award Flight availability before booking. Remember, this promotion is only valid for two travellers travelling on a single PNR.
Bottomline
The Turkish Airlines Miles Back on Award Flights Promotion is good for members already having Turkish miles in their accounts or planning to fly Turkish Airlines with their loved ones. However, the travel period is around the corner, and you need someone to travel with you, so you will also need to check your second traveller’s schedule. But if it works, then great.
