Accor have many Airline Partners. Recently, they added Vietnam Airlines. Both Vietnam Airlines and Accor allow conversion of points and miles to each other’s program. However, such a transfer is usually not beneficial. The Vietnam Airlines and Accor promotion is available until November 30, 2025, for all conversions between the two programs.
Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles & Accor Transfer Ratio
You can easily transfer miles to points and points to miles. An automatic transfer is available from Accor to Vietnam Airlines.
Here is the standard transfer ratio between Vietnam Airlines LotusMiles & Accor:
- 3000 Accor Points gets you 2000 Lotusmiles
- 5000 Lotusmiles gets you 1000 Accor Points
In a calendar year (January 1 to December 31), you can transfer up to 100K Lotusmiles to an Accor account.
Pro Tip: If you are not a member of the Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles program, then you can sign up and get 1000 Free Bonus Miles. Additionally, if you download and log in to the Vietnam Airlines app for the first time, you will also receive an additional 2,500 Miles. So, you can get 3500 Lotusmiles for free. You also have the option to create a family account and receive extra benefits and LotusMiles.
Should you transfer?
Accor Points are more valuable than Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles. 2000 Accor Points are worth €40, whereas Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles may have a higher or lower value than this. Usually, it doesn’t make sense to transfer Accor Points to the Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles account.
However, you can transfer Lotusmiles in most cases to Accor since you can use Air France Flying Blue or Virgin Atlantic Points for booking SkyTeam airlines’ award flights.
Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles & Accor Promotion
For all transfers between November 7th and November 30th, 2025, from Lotusmiles to Accor or from Accor to Lotusmiles, you will receive a 50% Bonus, which is a decent bonus promotion; however, it is still not a great way to redeem Accor Points.
With the 50% bonus promotion:
- 3000 Accor Points gets you 3000 Lotusmiles (2000 Base+1000 Bonus Miles)
- 5000 Lotusmiles gets you 1500 Accor Points (1000 Base+500 Bonus Miles)
The bonus LotusMiles will be credited by December 7, whereas Bonus Accor Points will be credited within six weeks.

Bottomline
Vietnam Airlines & Accor promotion offers a 50% bonus on all transfers made between them by 30th November 2025. The only way this promotion makes sense is to transfer Vietnam Lotusmiles to Accor Points.
