You can fly to 35 destinations with Virgin Atlantic, including three in India. Of these thirty-five destinations. Virgin Atlantic has excellent connectivity to the US.
India-London [Return Trip]
Usually, an India-London roundtrip costs 20K or 40K based on the peak/off-dates. And you will get 25% off on that. So, the minimum you have to pay is 15K or 30K points based on your dates.
Virgin Atlantic is known for charging significant surcharge.
However, you can save between £30 and £50 if you book two separate flights instead of a round trip. The only issue you will have here is if you want to cancel the ticket, as you would have to pay $50 per ticket. So, book separately if your plans are fixed.

Virgin Atlantic Points Partners in India
Only American Express Card points can be transferred in a 2:1 ratio to Virgin Atlantic. If you have many Marriott points, you can transfer your points from Marriott to Virgin Atlantic for a conversion ratio of 3:1 and get 5000 extra miles if you transfer 60000 Marriott Points or more.
Another option is buying Virgin Points, which may not be best now.
