How much Reward Value do you get if you take 30 flights in a year?

By taking 30 flights in a year, you will hold a Jetsetter badge at the end of the year, the highest badge available. Let’s find out the value achieved.

If the average base fare for every flight was Rs. 4000 and Rs. 1000 was the airport fee and fuel purchase then the total spending on flights is Rs. 1.5 lacs. However, only Rs. 1.2 lacs spending will earn Neu Coins.

Here are the benefits you get:

  • NeuCoins earned: Rs. 6800
  • Discount Received: Rs. 5750
  • Ancillary Spending Vouchers: Rs. 3500 (7*Rs. 500)
  • Flight Vouchers: Rs. 17000 (1*2000,3*5000)

The total value in INR is Rs.33000 on total spending of Rs. 1.5 lacs giving you a reward rate of 22% which is superb. Even an explorer who takes ten flights gets a reward value of 10%.

Pro Tip: Tata has launched two Tata Neu Credit cards. These credit cards can further increase the reward rate on spending at AirAsia India. These credit cards allow a minimum earning of 5 NeuCoins on the spending of Rs. 100. Also, the top Tata Neu Credit Card earns 10 NeuCoins on the spending of Rs. 100 with AirAsia India.

Final Thoughts

The AirAsia India NeuPass Frequent flyer program beats Indigo 6E rewards. Also, the FFP has simple terms and easily achievable badges. Even the reward rate is above 20% on travel spending is incredible. However, the only downside is AirAsia India is a domestically focused airline, and its benefit cannot be shared or used on Vistara or AirAsia International since Indigo has a codeshare agreement with Turkish Airlines which gives it an edge. But if you are looking for domestic travel with better comfort than other low-cost airlines then AirAsia India does work well. The merger with Air India Express and becoming a subsidiary of Air India should further enhance this AirAsia India NeuPass frequent flyer program. Ideally, Tatas should retain the frequent flyer program that AirAsia India presently has since it works.
