At select new and refreshed IHG hotels, award nights are periodically offered at a discounted points rate compared to standard pricing. The IHG award discount promotion is now available at 117 new & refreshed hotels for stays until 31 August 2026.

How the IHG New Hotels Award Discount Works

For award stays at the new and refreshed IHG hotels, you get a 15% discount on points as compared to standard award pricing. These new hotels are refreshed on the 1st of every month.

No discount code is required. The reduced award pricing is applied automatically during booking. And, there is no cap on the number of discounted award nights that can be booked. This offer is also valid on Points + Cash bookings, with the discount applying only to the points portion, not the cash component.

Things to Know Before Booking Discounted Award Nights

If you plan to book IHG’s new hotels with rewards points to get a discount, here you should know:

• Award Night Points receives a 15% discount.
• The stay should be booked by 31 August 2026 for stays until 31 August 2026.
• If you have a Chase IHG Rewards credit card, you can’t use this promotion with the “Fourth Reward Night Free” cardmember benefit. However, you can get the 15% discount for three or fewer nights.
• There is no limit on the number of award nights that can be booked, as long as the stay is within the promotion period. i.e. 31 August 2026.
