Accor has a great presence in Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Although it doesn’t have many hotels in India yet, there are options to accumulate Accor Points in India. This guide provides information on how to earn Accor Points in India.
Stay At Accor Hotels
Every time you spend €10 (INR 900) booking a stay at Accor Hotels, you get Accor Points. These points vary based on the Accor Brand you stay at. At most of the brands, you get 25 Accor Points. But at certain brand hotels, the earning can drop to a minimum of 5.

Achieve Elite Status To Earn More
Like other hotel chains, you get additional Accor Points as you achieve an Elite Status. But instead of a fixed percentage increase in points, there is a fixed number of increases. This is how many points you earn when you achieve an Accor Elite Status:
In any case, the Maximum points given to members are 44 Accor Points per €10 (INR 900). These points are given only to Platinum or Diamond members.
Earn Points at New Hotels
Every once in a while, Accor runs promotions for stays at new hotels. You can earn up to 4x points at these new hotels. However, the opportunities to earn these points are limited in India due to few new Hotel openings.
Earn Points on Ancillary Spending While Staying
If you love taking a Spa or eating at restaurants while staying at Accor Hotel, then you also get points on these spending based on your Elite Status.

Bonus Accor Points on Stay During Promotions
From time to time, Accor runs a promotional offer of bonus earning points on stays. Usually, the offer is for 6000 Accor points for three stays of a minimum of 2 nights each.
Earn Accor Points with Onefinestay
If you like any property at onefinestay, then you get Accor points on booking this property. Here the downside is the low Accor points on spending. You earn 1 Accor Reward point for every €1 (INR 90) spent.
Dining
Now you can earn points on spending at Accor Hotel Restaurants even if you are not staying. On every €1 (INR 90) spent, you get 1 Accor Reward point. Although the points earned are low, you can get points at most Accor Hotels. Usually, it takes seven days for points to be credited for dining spending.
Buy Priority Pass
Usually, people in India get a free Priority Pass with their credit cards. But if you wish to buy one for someone who already isn’t a member of Priority Pass, then you can do so. On such purchases, you can earn Accor Reward points. These points vary based on the type of priority pass bought. This is how many points Accor points you earn on buying Priority Passes:
- Pass Standard: 500 Accor Points
- Pass Standard Plus: 1000 Accor Points
- Pass Prestige: 1500 Accor Points
Not just points, you also get a discount for being a member of the Accor-ALL Hotels Loyalty Program. These discounts vary based on your Elite Status. Even if you’re a classic member, you can get a 10% discount, the minimum discount. Both the discount and Accor Points are given for the first year.
Host an Event
If you plan to host an event at participating Accor hotels, you can earn 1 Accor Reward point for every 2 Euros (INR 176) spent. But you can’t earn these points for a personal event. Only Professional events are given Accor Points. Also, you would need to register separately for Accor-“ALL Meeting Planner”.
Transfer HDFC Bank Reward Points
HDFC updated its transfer partners for Infinia and Diners Black Card holders. Of these new partners, Accor was also there. So, now you can transfer your HDFC Bank Reward Points to Accor in a 1:1 ratio. Usually, it takes five days for the points to get credited. In my case, it was credited in 3 days.
Transfer Axis Bank Miles & Points
Axis also added Accor as its transfer partner. Now you can transfer Axis Edge Points of Axis HNI Credit in a 5:4 ratio and 1:2 ratio for Axis Atlas Credit Card. So, you can now earn a lot of Accor points due to earning opportunities available on Axis Credit Cards. Accor is among the best redemption options for Axis Bank Credit Cardholders.
Fly Air France-KLM
It is even more rewarding as you can earn Accor Points whenever you fly any Air France-KLM flights from India or outside India. Usually, this partnership is made available to Elite Status holders in other hotels’ loyalty programs, for example, Marriott & Emirates or Hyatt & American Airlines. But here, you can earn Accor Points and Flying Blue points even if you don’t have elite status. You earn 1 Accor Reward Point for Every 2 Euros (INR 176) spent.
But once you link your Accor and Flying Blue (Air France-KLM Frequent Flyer Program) account, you can’t change your Airline partner for the next 12 months.
Earn Accor Points when You Fly Qatar Airways
If Air France-KLM doesn’t excite you, then how about Qatar Airways? You can earn 1 Accor Reward Point for every 2 USD (INR 164) spent on Qatar Airways. You also earn regular Avios on your Qatar Airways flights. But once you link your Qatar Airways & Accor Accounts, you can’t change your Airline Partner for the next 12 months.
Fly Qantas and Earn Accor Points
Suppose Qantas is your go-to airline for flights to Australia from India; then you can earn 1 Accor Reward Point for every AUD 5 (INR 278) spent on Qantas flights. For this, you need to link your Accor Account. Also, you need to have a minimum of Accor Gold or Qantas Platinum/Platinum One to earn reward points. Once you link both accounts, you can’t change your airline partner for the next 12 months.
Convert Air Miles
If you have Air Miles from the airlines, then you can transfer these Air Miles to your Accor account. But conversion is bad and can reduce value. The usual conversion ratio is 0.25 reward points for every 1 mile. Also, a minimum number of Air Miles are required to be transferred. It can work if you’re short of a few Accor points.
Bottomline
There are few opportunities to earn Accor points in India compared to Marriott, Hyatt or IHG. But few options to earn points are exceptional, like those without any status with airline partners. Other options do not provide a big opportunity to earn points except for points for staying.
